BROOK’S sister was getting married and she wanted to gift them with something unique, something that celebrates them.
GOAL: Create an illustration that reflects the happy couple’s lives and joys.
We decided to create a piece that captured one of their favourite places, a beach down South in WA, with Charlie surfing waves and Kate on the shore reading a book with their dog, Khaleesi.
The final artwork was printed, framed, and gifted where it’s now displayed in the newlyweds home, recieving positive feedback from the family.
To capture this coastal location, I used soft textures and tranquil tones it draws you into this moment of calm. The couple are nestled into the scene, not as the focal point, but instead as added details to resonate personally with them.
