WINE LABEL ILLUSTRATION

NORA VINEYARD is nestled in the cool-climate region of the Blue Mountains, NSW, cultivating grapes in a rugged, mountainous landscape where nature’s extremes meet the gentle care of passionate winemakers. Their wines are crafted with intention, heart, and a deep connection to place.

For their Cabernet Merlot, the client wanted a label that captured the essence of the wine and the environment it comes from - something evocative, memorable, and emotionally resonant.

GOAL: Create a wine label that visually tells the story of place and taste - a design that stands out while evoking the warmth and character of the wine itself.

With tasting notes of juicy plum, dark chocolate, and a hint of spice, this wine is comforting and indulgent - best enjoyed fireside after a day in the snow.

To reflect this, I illustrated that moment - a cosy cabin in the woods, nestled into a high-contrast, minimalist landscape. The palette is intentionally muted to reflect the quiet calm of winter in the mountains.

The result is a bold yet intimate label that invites the viewer into a moment - a connection between the wine and its origins.
